We are one of the most promising startups of 2025 with headquarters in Spain. We were founded in Barcelona, and since then, we've expanded to include offices in Madrid, Lisbon, Berlin, and Paris. We do this by disrupting the traditional residential real estate market, providing fully furnished and artfully designed apartments for stays starting at one month. We remove all the hassle around finding a rental with no long-term contracts, security deposits, broker fees, moving/buying furniture, etc., giving choice and flexibility to allow people to plant their roots anywhere 💥.

Role |

Your mission is to bring the Ukio brand to life in every apartment we design. As an Interior Designer, your primary responsibility will be to execute all stages of the design process, from concept development to final delivery, ensuring each space meets Ukio’s high-quality standards and reflects our unique aesthetic.

You will work collaboratively with the supply chain and facilities teams to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new apartments while managing design briefs, selecting furniture and materials, and preparing design files for production. Additionally, you will contribute to updating Ukio’s design guidelines and assist the Quality team in supervising and refreshing older apartments to align with our evolving standards.

Responsibilities |

• Execute all design stages from concept to final product
• Develop design briefs that suit the Ukio brand
• Select furniture and materials ensuring quality standards
• Prepare design files for print and production
• Work cross functionally with supply chain and facilities team for efficient onboarding process
• Manage design budgets and timelines for each apartment. Our timelines are very tight so we need someone to be able to work under pressure.
• Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions helping update Ukio’s design guidelines and standards.
• Help the Quality team when needed by supervising old apartments to make sure they are updated with our standards
