Role |

We are currently looking for a Guest Operations Intern focused on the quality assurance operations in the Lisbon market. Your primary role will be to support the seamless operation of guest experiences, from pre-check-in to post-check-out. You will assist in verifying the quality and cleanliness of apartments, ensuring guests have a smooth and enjoyable stay. Additionally, you will help optimize guest flow procedures. The role is integral in providing an outstanding guest experience and maintaining the overall quality of our properties. The Guest Operations Intern plays a vital role in the successful operation of our guest services, ensuring that guests have a memorable and hassle-free stay in our Ukio homes.

Responsibilities |

  • Assist with managing guest operations from check-in to check-out, including addressing guest requests and complaints
  • Help ensure apartments meet cleanliness and quality standards through regular inspections of the apartments

Check-In assistance

  • Support the management of guest access to apartments, including key management and keyless access codes
  • Assist the Guest Experience (GX) team with apartment and building entrance instructions when requested
  • Help manage the inventory welcome kits and cleaning essentials

Check-out

  • Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure timely apartment turnovers
  • Assist in replacing essential items and cleaning supplies in apartments between guests
  • Support the scheduling and supervision of apartment cleaning post check-out
  • Help conduct check-out procedures and report any maintenance or furniture issues
  • Maintain oversight on expenditures and costs as an integral part of the guest operations responsibilities

About you |

  • Fluent in Portuguese and English (C1)
  • Attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality standards
  • Organized, with the ability to follow processes and provide quick follow-up
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable in working with cross-functional teams
  • Previous experience in hospitality, property management, or related field is a plus
