About the Role:

At TravelPerk, we believe in empowering cross-functional teams of talented individuals who are accountable for and dedicated to delivering exceptional results for our customers and the company. As a Product Manager, you will be the architect of value creation by working with stakeholders, customers, and your team to identify opportunities, translate them into a product strategy, and then oversee the execution of the work, iteratively testing hypotheses and correcting course to achieve your goals.

The Pay Tribe is TravelPerk’s in-house fintech: we look after the complex infrastructure that enables millions of dollars to be transacted on our platform every day, everywhere in the world, as well as providing the tools to help both our customers and internal teams deal with money and automate accounting processes with a high level of reliability, security and accuracy.

We are looking for a Product Operations Manager to join our the Flights team. The POM - flights will ensure the quality of our flight supplier landscape both in terms of content and performance. This role will support the flight squad, the supplier relations team as well as our sales and account management teams through different forms of projects and support, working with internal stakeholders and third-party suppliers, while optimizing the vertical KPIs.

What you'll do

  • Working closely with the Product Manager, Engineering, and Supplier relations to develop strategies to enhance our global operational efficiency
  • In alignment with the vertical strategy, implement and coordinate projects to improve our inventory distribution strategy
  • Run ad-hoc analysis with the data team to ensure our product health tracking is accurate, as well as ensuring we keep on monitoring all new projects and our health is at its best
  • Minimize the impact of provider outages by defining strategies to modify our inventory on an ad-hoc basis, escalating it to providers, with no support required from engineering
  • Build and develop impact assessments to help guide the development of product roadmaps
  • Analyze our customer feedback to identify key positive and negative trends to be able to reduce churn
  • Analyze product metrics and KPIs to uncover key areas for improvement in our experience
  • Build up industry insights through competitor analysis and benchmarking

What will you need to succeed?

  • Expert knowledge of GDS (Amadeus, Travelport, Sabre..).
  • Expert knowledge of transportation supplier landscape (GDS, Aggregators, NDC, SPRK, ARC, BSP, and other service providers).
  • Strong knowledge of search, booking, reservation systems, and online flows.
  • Strong knowledge of the flight distribution industry.
  • Experience with operation tools like Jira, Datadog, Looker, Google Sheets.
  • Analytical, proven ability to analyze various data sources and identify root cause/drivers of success.
  • Experience implementing, delivering large projects and communicating effectively at an executive level.
  • Inventory expert with experience working with our providers.
  • Customer Care Process expert

How we work

Our Vision is for a world where TravelPerk serves as the platform for human connection in-real-life (IRL). We take an IRL-first approach to work, where our team works together in-person 3 days a week. As such, this role requires you to be based within commuting distance of our HUB NAME hub.
