Community Lead (Growth)

We are building the next generations' social communication platform (read our vision here).
You will be responsible for our most important growth vectors, and over time have the chance build up our growth team and functions.
This is a leading role with corresponding compensation (including a stake in the business) - Stockholm-based or Remote full-time position.
We are backed by Creandum and Heartcore, investors behind Spotify, Depop, Klarna, Kry, iZettle, Small Giant Games and Tink.

Why this role will be defining for this company

We want to redefine how we interact with new and old friends when not sharing physical space.
This is a consumer offering and success will require unlocking viral effects combined with experimentation and research to find the right market entry point.
We want to build a community of advocates and contributors from day one as it is key that we involve our users to help us shape and co-develop Scapin'
There is no big paid marketing budget to get this rolling, but we will need to innovate and leverage existing communities, platforms and tools together with our product to build critical mass.
This will be the challenge you are taking on!

Build our first relationships with a community of users and contributors

From Zero to Many: You will be responsible for taking care of our very first users, get to know them, make sure we maintain good relationships, and ultimately try and learn how we best approach the wider market.
Many, many, many relationships: Success for our product will be defined by helping a massive amount of people form more and deeper relationships in their online interactions.
Community + product + growth: You will represent the Community within Scapin' and your input will be key for our product iterations.
Finding Growth Avenues: You will work closely with the full team to find and deliver new avenues of growth.
First team and beyond: You will actually be joining the first and only team. We will tackle company opportunities (and problems) as one unit. Over time we need you to help us build a team of growth specialists across various functions.

Experience that would be valuable

💡 Don't forget, this is a wish list. Not a "you-need-to-have-all list".
Experience as a Community builder, Growth Marketeer/PM, or Communications genius for social products, games, media or entertainment
Having worked close to consumer tech product development with focus on product visuals and design (ps. we do a lot of work in Figma)
Comfort with product analytics and data-driven decision making
A history of working with Community building across some of the key platforms of today (we will be on Discord for sure)
Having worked in- or close to growth teams to set up long-term sustainable growth strategies and tactics (we read a lot of content from Reforge)
A fascination for the potential of the Metaverse (read more here, and go deep here) will help you understand our vision.
