JOB TITLE: Sr. Regional Marketing Manager (Strategic Events)
JOB DESCRIPTION
Role Overview: We are looking for a strategic and results-driven individual to lead and expand high-impact event programming across the Americas. This role will design and execute third-party, high impact 1st party and virtual events in partnership with corporate and regional marketing teams to achieve pipeline and revenue goals in the region.
Reporting Structure: This position is a core part of the Americas Marketing team and reports directly to the VP of Americas Marketing. Success in this role requires building and nurturing partnerships across multiple teams, including sales, corporate and regional marketing, digital, developer relations, and product marketing.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Development: Build and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy for regionally led virtual events, third-party event support, and customer engagement initiatives that emphasize impactful event formats. Establish clear plans for audience segmentation, registration, promotion, lead management, and results tracking across event types.
- Performance Accountability: Lead the execution and ongoing optimization of all event types, working with regional and corporate marketing teams to meet key performance metrics, including Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) and Sales Accepted Opportunities (SAOs). Continuously assess program effectiveness, providing recommendations for enhanced efficiency and results.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with various marketing functions to design and implement event programming that drives measurable business outcomes for the region.
- Sales Development Partnership: Collaborate closely with Sales Development teams to gather feedback and ensure effective lead follow-up.
- Strategic Communication: Communicate event strategies, actions, and outcomes to regional, corporate, and product marketing teams, as well as executive and sales leadership, to maximize programming success.
Who You'll Work With: You’ll be a key member of the Americas Regional Marketing team. The team is responsible for driving the highest quality lead generation programs that take customers and prospects through their buyers’ journey using all activities in the marketing mix including digital, partner and event programs.
In this senior strategic events role, you will drive leads, opportunities, and pipeline growth, guided by a quarterly strategic events plan and aligned with budgetary objectives. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and agency partners is crucial.
Who You Are
- 7+ years in events marketing, with a strong record in planning and executing impactful third-party and in-house events, along with virtual programming. Experience with Account-Based Marketing (ABM) is a plus.
- 5+ years in a regional or sales-facing role is ideal.
- Expertise in demand generation, strong analytical skills, and a solutions-focused mindset.
- Proven event planning and execution skills, including post-event analysis.
- Outstanding communication and influence skills, effective across all levels of the organization.
- Self-starter with a proactive, independent work style who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent project management abilities, from concept through completion.
- Strategic thinker with a balance of tactical and strategic execution, including effective budget and ROI management.
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of Marketo, Tableau and Salesforce is essential.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
The annual base salary range for this position based in the United States is listed below. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on Neo4j’s compensation practices, job related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and trainings, in addition to geographic location. Based on the factors above, Neo4j utilizes the full width of the range.
In addition to the range below, US employees are eligible for a stock option grant and certain roles are eligible for an annual bonus. Employees in this position are also eligible to participate in the Company’s standard benefit programs, which currently include the following: medical, dental, and vision benefits, 401(k), paid time off, and certain leaves of absence.
