Italic is creating a world of luxury without labels. We believe that luxury today is exclusionary and all about marketing that hurts its customers and manufacturers. Our mission is to create a new model that enables manufacturers to bypass the legacy luxury supply chain and deliver luxury goods with equivalent or better quality directly to consumers. Our customers come to rely on Italic for our quality, timeless design, and radical value.

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Inventory Supervisor to join our dynamic team. In this crucial role, you will be responsible for managing our inventory levels, ensuring that we have the right products in the right quantities at the right time. Your expertise will play a pivotal role in optimizing our inventory investment and minimizing overstock situations. - Create and execute detailed merchandise plans for each category, considering sales trends, seasonal fluctuations, and promotional activities.

- Monitor inventory levels in real-time, identifying potential stock shortages or excesses and taking proactive steps to address them.

Collaboration and Cross-Functional Partnership

- Work closely with the buying and merchandising teams to align purchase plans with inventory strategies, ensuring a cohesive approach to product assortment and stock levels.

- Partner with the finance team to reconcile inventory plans with budgetary constraints, optimizing for profitability and cash flow.

Technical Skills

- Proven experience in merchandise planning, inventory management, or a related field, with a strong understanding of retail math and inventory planning concepts.

- Proficiency in inventory management software and advanced Excel skills for data analysis and forecasting.

- Ability to interpret and analyze sales data to inform purchasing decisions and inventory strategies.

Soft Skills

- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across different teams and departments.

- Adaptability and flexibility to respond quickly to changing market conditions and business needs.

- A proactive and strategic thinker, with a focus on continuous improvement and optimization of inventory processes.

- A results-driven mindset, with a commitment to achieving financial goals and maximizing inventory efficiency.

- A team player, dedicated to contributing to the overall success of the organization through effective merchandise planning.

This role is ideal for an individual passionate about balancing operational efficiency with financial objectives, eager to make a significant impact in a fast-paced retail environment. If you are ready to take on the challenge of optimizing our inventory to meet the ever-changing needs of our customers, we would love to hear from you.
