We offer you an influential role in a fast-growing company:
As a Working Student (w/m/d), you will support our product managers in our Employer Product teams, you will play a crucial role in advancing our product at HeyJobs by bringing our product discovery to new heights. You will assist in user research, interviews, and data analysis, providing valuable insights that shape our product decisions. As we continue to grow and innovate, your contributions will directly impact our ability to create user-centric products that drive success.
You will report directly to the Head of Product and work closely with product managers, designers, and developers to ensure user research informs and improves our product decisions.
🎯 How you can contribute to HeyJobs
Plan, organise, and conduct user research initiatives, such as interviews and surveys, in collaboration with product managers to gather insights on product usage and customer pain points.
Develop interview guides and questionnaires with the input of product managers and designers.
Collect and analyse qualitative and quantitative data from user research and interviews.
Summarise interview transcripts and research findings into actionable insights and recommendations for product improvements.
Create and maintain organised databases of research findings, ensuring all data is easily accessible.
Conduct competitor analysis to evaluate how HeyJobs compares to similar products in the market, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for improvement.
Support product managers in analysing the effectiveness of product changes by conducting post-launch surveys or designing follow-up user research.
Suggest and implement enhancements to the user research process and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

German Language Proficiency: Fluency in German, as most of our clients are German and user interviews are conducted in German.
Strong Communication Skills: Ability to articulate findings clearly and concisely to various stakeholders.
Analytical Mindset: Proficiency in analysing qualitative and quantitative data to draw actionable insights.
Efficient Document Management: Skill in systematically organising, maintaining, and retrieving research documents and data to ensure easy access and reference.
Curiosity and Initiative: Eagerness to learn and suggest improvements to research processes and tools.
Collaborative Spirit: Ability to work well in cross-functional teams, ensuring user research informs product decisions.
Empathy for Users: A strong understanding of user needs and the ability to advocate for them within the product team.
Proactive in Automating Workflows: Keen interest in automating workflows using tools such as Zapier to enhance efficiency.
