As the Head of Marketing Steering & Analytics, you will spearhead our unique market differentiator: the Talent Marketing Steering Engine. This innovative suite of machine learning models and algorithms is key to efficiently sourcing and delivering talent to our B2B customers. Additionally, you will oversee our Marketing Analytics team, guiding our marketing managers and senior leaders to make informed decisions and foster growth through rapid experimentation. We seek a senior leader who combines a profound, product-focused, and practical approach to ML/DS (collaborating with senior PMs, data scientists, and engineers) while also offering exceptional leadership and coaching to our Analytics team.
🎯 How you can contribute to HeyJobs
Take full ownership of our Marketing Steering & Analytics department, being in charge of both designing / building our Marketing Steering Engine and enabling our decision-making with best-in-class analytics and experimentation.
Manage, coach, and continuously develop two teams (each managed by a Head / TL respectively): 1) Marketing Steering, a cross-functional team consisting of senior PMs and data scientists and 2) Marketing Analytics, a team of Marketing Analysts.
Join our senior Talent Marketing leadership team (direct report to CMO), co-shape our long-term strategy / roadmap and drive key decisions.
Drive cross-functional projects that bring our already highly automated and data-backed marketing approach to the next level, collaborating closely with our Marketing Managers and MarTech teams.
Go deep and provide thought leadership and expertise on how to further optimize our automated approaches across all Marketing levers (bidding, targeting, etc.), working hand in hand with your cross-functional partners.
Develop a holistic understanding of our business and collaborate with HeyJobs teams beyond Talent Marketing to shape how our overall platform will work in the future (e.g. work with our product organization and corresponding data science teams on topics like search algorithms, ranking, recommendations, etc.).
🤝 What sets you up for success
University degree in a quantitative field, preferably in business, economics, statistics/data science, mathematics, engineering, computer science, or a related discipline
At least 7 years of experience in high-performing organizations, with a proven track record in developing leading-edge DS / ML / analytics solutions to high-impact business problems
Proven team leadership skills and a track record in building and developing high-performing teams (incl. performance reviews, goal setting, individual development conversations, etc.)
Excellent strategic thinking and problem solving skills - being able to see the big picture while still being hands-on with the teams to make things happen
Strong technical / analytical skills and thinking, incl. hands-on experience with relevant technologies (e.g. SQL, Python)
Experience in digital marketing - hands-on experience in managing channels such as SEM or Paid Social is a plus
Strong collaboration and project management skills
Excellent business communication skills
Business fluency in English - German (even basic) is a plus
