The role

As an Integrations & Operations Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading the work of our most complex technical partner integrations and working on strategic partner projects. You are experienced with APIs, marketing touchpoint integrations (including for loyalty programs), and the technical side of affiliate marketing. In this role you’ll get to apply your knowledge to partner work by both leading the implementation projects from start to finish together with our Partner Tech and Account Management teams.

Beyond this, you will upskill the team by improving our processes around integrations. You will get to work on strategic projects, including activation program/product improvements, technical integration playbook development, onboarding partners with technical integrations, and creating processes that enable partner-facing teams to execute more efficiently. This will allow you to collaborate with diverse stakeholders focused on business development, engineering, operations and marketing.

You will:

  • Develop and implement strategies/processes for integrating partners to GetYourGuide’s Affiliate Program via API or more complex technical integrations
  • Collaborate independently with diverse stakeholders, both internal and external, including partnerships, supply, commercial, and technical teams. This collaboration could include:
    • Consulting, and upskilling our internal partnerships teams on how to implement integrations with their partners. At times, taking the lead of the implementation work (initiation, to growth and maintenance phases).
    • Consulting and managing the external partners regarding the integrations
    • Collaborating with internal stakeholders (supply, various tech teams) regarding API integrations and supply distribution integrations.
    • Project Management: Lead integration projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that milestones are met.
    • Troubleshoot: Identifying and resolving issues related to integrations and affiliate tools.
    • Coaching and mentoring junior team members or non-technical team members in integrations and project management.
  • Stay on top of industry trends & developments and bring your ideas to the team in order to improve our processes and products.

Who you are

  • You have 3+ years of experience in technical account management, or customer/partner facing project management in a fast-growing company (startups/scaleups preferred).
  • Solid understanding of REST APIs.
  • Basic understanding of web development: html, TypeScript, CSS. Understanding of the Vue framework is a big plus.
  • Capability to file meaningful and actionable bug tickets.
  • Good understanding of marketing KPIs and good business acumen.
  • Good analytical skills and ideally basic understanding of SQL. Looker experience is a big plus.
  • Experience in collaborating with diverse internal and external stakeholders and leading projects while meeting important milestones.
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills in English. Fluent in both written and verbal communication. Additional languages are a plus.
  • The ability to work independently, managing your projects to budget and deadline with little supervision.
  • Entrepreneurial attitude, fast learner, and feedback oriented.
