Team mission
We are currently seeking a Senior Connectivity Support Specialist for a full-time position at our Berlin office. In this role, you will report to the Connectivity Support Manager and collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Supply Teams, as well as our connectivity providers, to deliver seamless and timely support to our partners and suppliers.
The Connectivity Team ensures seamless access to remarkable travel experiences by establishing direct connections with top suppliers. GetYourGuide's mission is to unlock unforgettable journeys by connecting travelers with diverse activities globally. Guided by values of customer focus, passion, collaboration, integrity, and innovation, the company enhances travel through tailored and ethical practices, creating memorable experiences for all.
You will:
- Act as the first point of contact for supplier, partner, and internal team inquiries regarding API and Connectivity.
- Rapidly resolve or escalate connectivity problems to guarantee a seamless customer experience.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and prioritize resolving connectivity issues with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
- Monitor, troubleshoot and support existing API connections and support the onboarding and certification process for new partners;
- Proactively identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency.
- Lead project management initiatives to enhance connectivity solutions and drive product enhancements.
- Engage and manage stakeholders effectively to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
- Review and write code to support connectivity improvements and integrations.
Who you are:
- Experienced with Zendesk, Jira, or similar software platforms.
- You have a strong affinity for technology and a solid understanding of APIs.
- Proficient in data formats such as JSON and XML, and are familiar with tools like Postman or Kibana.
- You demonstrate flexibility, are committed to lifelong learning, and are motivated to take ownership of your responsibilities.
- You excel in communication and have a proven ability to build effective working relationships.
- You adopt a solution-oriented mindset, transforming challenges into opportunities.
- Analytical and able to leverage data to make informed decisions.
- You have proven skills in project management and process improvement.
- Experienced in stakeholder engagement and management.
- You have coding skills for reviewing and writing to support product enhancements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
