About the role

We're seeking a skilled freelance SEO Copy Editor to produce high-quality SEO-first destination guides for GetYourGuide’s content hub - The Explorer.

You will:

• Edit and refine destination guides for SEO and tone of voice.
• Collaborate with junior writers, providing feedback and managing deadlines.
• Ensure all content aligns with our SEO guidelines and brand tone.
• Produce engaging articles that capture our unique voice.
• Optimize existing content for better performance and conversion.

Who you are

• Fluent in English - spoken and written.
• Proven experience in SEO copy editing.
• Strong writing skills with a flair for our specific tone of voice.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Flexible and adaptable to the needs of a dynamic start-up environment.
• Experience with keyword research tools (e.g., Ahrefs, Semrush).
• Familiarity with CMS platforms (e.g. ContentStack)
• Experience using project management tools (e.g. JIRA)
• Eye for strong editorial imagery

Details:

• Approximately 20 hours per week., 50 euros/hour
• Remote work with flexible scheduling.
• Regular check-ins to ensure alignment and progress.
