Team mission

Marketplace owns the mobile and web platforms of GetYourGuide. We aim to deliver an amazing customer journey through great user interfaces and rigorous A/B testing. Our goal is to build an unbeatable travel marketplace and seamless booking experience for our users.

We’re organized in cross-functional mission teams, which are composed of software engineers, mobile engineers and data engineers, along with product managers and designers.

Who you are:

We seek a senior front-end engineer to join us on a high-priority accessibility project. The scope is estimated to take 3 months from the starting date.

  • 5+ years of software development experience
  • Highly proficient with html, Vue.js, Typescript, Node.js, CSS and modern web standards
  • Experience with GitHub actions and CI/CD pipelines
  • A track record of working on web accessibility
  • Experience with axe-core is a plus.

Interviewing process:

  • Tackle a concise home task focused on frontend development where you can showcase your skills with Vue and accessibility
  • Join a one-hour interview with an EM and a senior Full-Stack Engineer, during which we will briefly discuss your home task, your past experiences and the accessibility project you will work on.
