Team mission

We are a multi-disciplinary team of Product Designers, Content Designers, and UX Researchers that are passionate about solving customer problems in an effective way. We combine empathy, our craft, and creativity to create valuable, usable, and delightful product experiences. Our work is guided by strong principles that make our experience focus on value and feel simple, trustworthy, human, and unique. We collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Data to ensure those principles are front and center in the features we develop.

You will:

  • Represent a rigorous, strategic user-centered point of view, advocating for user needs with your peers in your product team and with stakeholders
  • Perform generative and exploratory research to answer strategic questions about user behavior
  • Plan, execute upon, and synthesize evaluative research to optimize the experience of new and existing features and/or products
  • Enable and support designers in product teams to run their own evaluative research on the features and/or products they designed
  • Collaborate with the product analytics team to plan and execute upon joint research programs or contribute to the design of quantitative research
  • Present and socialize the findings of research to a diverse audience of designers, product managers, engineers, and executives
  • Be active in product reviews and provide constructive feedback to strengthen your peers’ decision making skills and quality of work
  • Be a primary contributor with designers, researchers, product managers, and engineers in solving customer problems and improving our user experience
  • Influence product decisions across all phases of the product development life cycle increasing consistency with user needs and their mental models, and following up on insights to ensure they are acted upon
  • Own the long-term research strategy for your product group and collaborate closely with designers, product managers, content strategists, analysts and engineers to identify research opportunities
  • Be a thought partner to your product manager, building the product strategy and roadmap together
  • Mentor others conducting research by giving constructive feedback to strengthen their decision-making and quality of work
  • Collaborate with your stakeholders to facilitate alignment, create shared understanding, and communicate the rationale behind your decisions

Who you are:

  • B.A/B.S or M.A./M.S. in a human behavior-related field (HCI, Cognitive Psychology, Social Science, Information Science, Anthropology or similar)
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as a UX researcher in a start-up, Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs), large company with a digital offering, or design consulting agency
  • Have at least 1 year of experience in the B2B space
  • A demonstrable problem-solving mindset, focusing on outcomes and not output, and applying user feedback or multivariate testing to validate hypothesis
  • Complete familiarity with a variety of research methods with an emphasis on qualitative (usability testing, iterative testing, concept testing, interviews, field research) and quantitative research (surveys, A/B experiments, combining qualitative insights with analytics)
  • Complete familiarity with all aspects of research execution, including study planning and design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, synthesis and reporting
  • Proven track-record in leading medium research projects that demonstrate a user-centered approach and high-quality insights
  • Experience working with product teams driving user research insights into product solutions
  • Demonstrable ability to present research process and insights to a variety of audiences and build a product vision
  • Ability to work independently and adapt research practices to meet the lean needs of a scale-up environment
  • Commitment to frequent in-person interactions for building strong connections, with flexibility for remote individual work when appropriate
  • Excellent English communication skills

Bonus points for:

  • Experience partnering with data analysts on research projects is a plus;
  • International research experience is a plus;
  • Basic understanding of statistical concepts is a plus.
