The Role

We are looking for a strategic leader to drive revenue and profitability by defining and implementing GetYourGuide’s connectivity strategy. This is a full-time role, based at our headquarters in Berlin. You report to our Director of Global Supply, and your responsibilities are as follows:

  • Define GYG’s Connectivity strategy, e.g. how to accelerate the acquisition of new suppliers and activities; or what to prioritize to optimize the customer and supplier experience
  • Influence GYG’s Connectivity tech roadmap, e.g. how to improve the user journey, and how to prioritize new features
  • Build and manage a high-performing team, e.g. refine roles and responsibilities; coach the team; and establish contingency plans
  • Manage cross-functional stakeholders and projects, e.g. joint OKR setting; or defining an incentive program for our connectivity partners
  • Represent GYG, and manage our connectivity partners, e.g. represent GYG at conferences; attend quarterly business reviews; host bi-yearly partner days; or manage escalations

Your Profile

  • You have seven to ten years work experience, incl. people management. Either at a large tech company (> € 1 billion revenue), and/or at McKinsey, BCG, or Bain
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset, strong business acumen, and willingness to get your hands dirty
  • Connectivity (ops and tech), API and SaaS knowledge are a strong plus
